Acceptable Use Policy for Schools
A PRACTICAL SOLUTION FOR SCHOOLS
If your school is committed to the correct and proper use of its ICT resources – we’ll ensure your Acceptable Use Policies reflect that commitment.
If your school is committed to the correct and proper use of its ICT resources – your AUP should reflect that commitment.
The inappropriate use of information and communication technology (ICT) resources could expose your school to risks including virus and malicious software attacks, theft and unauthorised disclosure of information, disruption of network systems and / or litigation.
The purpose of the Acceptable Use Policy is to provide staff, students and other users with clear guidance on the appropriate, safe and legal way in which they can make use of the school’s ICT resources.
The AUP should represent the school’s position as it applies to:
Step 1: Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) Workshop
Step 2: AUP Review Meetings
Step 3: Online Webinar with Staff
Step 4: 12 Months Email & Phone Support
*All workshops / training will take place online due to Covid-19.
