Here at Ark we have been closely following the Covid19 pandemic which has affected every school in the country. It is a worrying time and at Ark we believe we have a responsibility to do everything we can to support our clients.
Since last Thursday we have closed our offices for the next few weeks and have asked our staff to work from home in line with good common sense.
During this time our staff will be leveraging technology to conduct meetings virtually. All our team are equipped to operate as normal in this environment and this has been tested as part of our business continuity planning.
I’m sure like many, you are continuing to go about the school business as best you can. However you may be struggling to provide continuity / support to your own staff where there is a focus on remote learning for students in particular.
I’d like you to know that our team is here to assist you in any way we can. In addition to our core services, we are redeploying members of our team from today to assist schools (where needed) to deal with:
- IT Issues – We can administer and support you and your staff in the areas of Google Classroom & Office 365. This may also include training or supporting staff in getting classes up and going or working with staff remotely who are finding the process difficult.
- Website Issues – We can add, edit and update pages on your website such as WordPress, Weebly, Wix etc. We can conduct backups and maintenance as needed to ensure your website is available throughout the coming weeks.
- Data Protection Compliance Issues – training / advising on strong practices that should be adopted to maintain data privacy.
- Health & Safety Issues arising from the pandemic.
These are unprecedented times and the situation is unfolding by the day. As a company, our commitment to the education sector is a founding principle and during times of great challenge that commitment is only strengthened.
